experimental politics The future doesn't exist (yet), that much we know. Speaking of the future can never be matter-of-fact, since it always means to posit something that is to come, and thus to make claims on the present. People speak of the future when they want to call something into being: its not by coincidence that these are mostly politicians, advertisements, NGOs or activists.
